Antique Nippon HandPainted Celery Dish & SIX Matching Salts, Japan ca. 1910s-1921 - image 1 of 7

DESCRIPTION: This elegant antique Celery Dish with SIX matching Salt Dishes are a very versatile entertainment piece.

In design, the pattern features pink rose blossoms with medallions and accents of gold moriage. The Celery has pierced handles with upward curve to hold either celery sticks or your favorite veggies. On white porcelain, the set features six (6) matching Salts of brilliant sheen and color.

On the moderne table, this set will very nicely present cut vegetables and dips, sushi and dipping sauces, tidbits and sauces, and of course, celery and salt. Arrange the set on a large silver or gold platter, add a votive and bud vase with a single rose, and you've created a very ModerneAntique design element.

WHY I LIKE IT: Adding vintage and antique serving pieces to a moderne table setting is a subtle display of your sophistication and exquisite personal style.
