DESCRIPTION: We are pleased to have curated this complete Mayonnaise set from decades ago with matching bowl, underplate and ladle. The handpainted design, from Tashiro Shoten Ltd., Japan, is of intricate design that includes a fancy border, leaves and berries, accented with handpainted gold. The background boasts a gradient of brown to pale yellow to complement the design. The 3-footed mayo bowl is a generous size to present your best homemade mayo, or your favorite sauces, fresh cream, berries, puree’ …this is your opportunity to be very creative with a wonderful vintage piece.
WHY I LIKE IT: Mayo bowls are versatile on the moderne table, especially when hosting a theme-inspired menu. Fill them with mayo or condiments; fill with olives or salad toppings; fill with sugars on your dessert table; or float beautiful fresh florals in water. Be sure to include the ladle - great conversation starter!
