DESCRIPTION: This lovely antique handpainted plate features a very moderne design on pristine white porcelain by Jean Pouyat, Limoges, France. The ground features powder blue color as the canvas for a trio of three beautifully formed rose bouquets. Fine lines of gilt outline the trios and a wider band of gold appears on the perimeter of the plate separated with fine green linear detail. In its simplicity, this plate is a classic.
WHY I LIKE IT: In a moderne setting, a vintage plate always adds the unexpected while enhancing expectations.

DIMENSIONS: 8-1/2” dia.
CONDITION: Excellent. No chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. Slight manufacturing anomalies exist. Minor loss of gold.
