DESCRIPTION: From Selb Bavaria, these antique Rosenthal HandPainted Salt & Pepper Shakers announces Spring is in the air! Under a soft sheen of glaze, naturalistic white daisies are carefully placed upon a background of green variants. An abundance of leaves are detailed with whimsy and perfection. The tops are of gilt and the shape of these antique Salt & Pepper shakers are fluted and curved with scalloped base.

These lovely antique Salt & Pepper Shakers were displayed in a Private Collection and the original cork stoppers are no longer attached. As well, there is a surface chip on the base of one shaker (see photo before backstamp photo).

DIMENSIONS: 2-1/8” h x 2-1/16” w (at base)

CONDITION: Excellent. No chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. Minimal gold rubbing, if any. Manufacturing anomalies are consistent with the era. Beautiful lustre. Because of this lustre, photo glare is exactly that and not an imperfection.
