DESCRIPTION: From Limoges, France, this antique Haviland Cup and Saucer Set on white porcelain is decorated with a border of bold teal ribbon that frames both the exterior cup and saucer. HandPainted, "Holly & Ivy" are featured in the design; the shape of the cup is wide rim, tapered base with loop handle. The handle is accented with hand-applied gilt in freeform styling with gold ribbon. Entwined with the teal ribbon is green garland and red berries. Each piece is completed with fine gold trim.
WHY I LIKE IT: It reminds me of December, all year long! It's a lovely Haviland antique piece with a festive and timeless design.

CONDITION: Very Good. No chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. Minor manufacturing anomalies noted; loss of gold on saucer outer edges.
