Antique Limoges Cup & Saucer Set, Dainty Flowers & Ribbon Handle ca. early 1900s - image 1 of 8

DESCRIPTION: This antique French Cup and Saucer Set on white porcelain is dainty and beautifully decorated. With the detailing of the well-loved split ribbon handle, the set is Limoges at its best. The design features small florals that encircle the inside and outside of the flat cup and trail across the scalloped saucer. On both pieces, vibrant colors define the flowers and are outlined with a line of gold that adds a touch of elegance. The scalloped saucer and base of cup are heavily gilded. This is a very pretty set to acquire as a ‘starter’ or nice addition to your collection.

WHY I LIKE IT: Vibrant color on white porcelain is always a favorite. The beauty of this piece is its simplicity and how nicely it coordinates with moderne china sets.
