Here is a cup and saucer set matching a teapot that I also have listed—the remnants of what must have been a very attractive tea service in its day. Both pieces are in undamaged condition with only some gilt wear to the soft-toned decoration, which includes flower bouquets and swags of flowering vines interlacing with a puce ribbon around the rim. The saucer is five and one-eighth inches across. Besides the F factory mark in underglaze blue, there is an impressed letter N in the bottom of both pieces. If you compare both sets, you see that, when the central bouquets are aligned in the same position, one saucer has the puce ribbon at the top, and the other saucer has the vine at the top. Interesting.
