Here is a listing that accompanies a couple of other “Coalport Scotland” listings I have, all taken from a large set. It has exactly the same design as Spode pattern 1926, landscape scenes with a gilded dentil edge. The hand-painted scenes on this Coalport bowl are named on the bottom: Augustine Abbey, Adare (Ireland), Kirkstall Abbey (Leeds) and Loch Katrine (Scotland), and it retains a sticker from a Christie’s sale in New York City. The bowl is six inches across at the top and nearly three and three-quarters inches high. It is in near perfect condition with no wear to the decoration and no damage. It would fit perfectly on one of the pair of plates I also have for sale, but I only have one matching bowl so I am selling it separately.
A warm welcome! Please consider all our offerings, and feel free to inquire about more information. We’re always buying, so let us know if you have early porcelain items to sell.
