Here is a very attractive and appealing cup and saucer from the Derby Factory displaying scenes described on the bottom: “View Near Cubar” and “Near Borrowash,” both sites near Derby. Derby porcelain pieces illustrated with scenes in Derbyshire are favorites with Derby collectors. This pattern number is known to have been assigned to Zachariah Boreman, and this certainly has the flavor of his work. The saucer is five and a half inches across. There is some obvious wear to the gilt ring in the saucer but no damage to either piece.
