Here are an antique porcelain cup and saucer with a riotous collection of flowers, including roses and peonies. Both are edged in brown, and both are in near perfect condition with no damage and the only wear being a couple of pinhead losses of color on the saucer. The handle is edged in puce at the scrolling terminals. George Ware was the author of German and Austrian Porcelain, a standard reference book on the subject, and this set once belonged to him. The saucer is five and three-eighths inches across.
