A brilliant and evocative design. This set in red, blue, black, green and gilding is marked with pattern number 968, which corresponds with this design in the records of the Worcester factory started by Mr. Chamberlain. The impressive and colorful design extends to an inner band inside the cup. Both pieces are in excellent condition, except for very slight wear to the saucer, which is five and a half inches across.
