The buff body of the fired clay gives the background color for the brown and red flower and branch decoration on this set. The teapot is six inches across and three and a half inches tall. It must not have been played with very much, because it’s in great condition, with no cracks, though the edge of the spout has a small chip on the side and a glaze chip on the inside. The rest of the set is undamaged. The sugar bowl has many touchups to the brown line around the middle and the centers of some flowers, and there are also a few touchups to specks here and there on the other two pieces, but overall this is in very nice condition for a set meant for a child.

A warm welcome! Please consider all our offerings, and feel free to inquire about more information. We’re always buying, so let us know if you have early porcelain items to sell.
