This exciting and colorful teapot with its original stand comes in a very lavish Imari style, a tried and true design popular from the early 19th century, when this was made, until today. The decoration is in near perfect condition, even the gilding, but the knob on the lid has been reattached and the spout shows repair to the tip. An absolutely splendid display piece.
