Made of unusually thin porcelain, this feather-light set is unmarked but definitely by Worcester. Most printing by Worcester was done in blue, but black was also popular from about 1758 to 1765. The very elegant shape of this teabowl is especially nice and the design is delicate and assured. Perfect condition. The saucer is four and seven-eighths inches across. A set with different bird prints was in the Billie Pain collection.
