The scrolling decoration of flowers and vines seems to blend in perfectly with the undulating outline of this teapot, which can be dated by the shape to about 1805. (Shapes changed quite often, as porcelain makers tried to stay one step ahead of the competition and the public kept looking for the newest designs.) The condition is quite good. The lip of the spout has been touched up and the finial has been repaired. Some slight wear to the enamels.
