The Machin factory produced an enormous range of porcelain in the early19th century, and this set exemplifies the British fascination with the Orient, an interest that was still going strong 50 years after it first took England by storm. This set is larger than you’d expect, a little over five and five-eighths inches. Quite translucent. The decoration is in near perfect condition and very bright.
