This is a colorful Davenport set, consisting of two cups and a matching saucer, made circa 1825. A rare survivor from the period when Davenport was establishing itself as a major manufacturer of ceramics in England. In near-perfect condition, with the Davenport mark impressed on the reverse of the saucer. Bright and attractive. One cup is stained on the top rim.
