This familiar pattern is also known as the Bat Pattern, named after the little critter flying above the vase. The design also features a table with a basket of fruit and a large central vase, with everything surrounded by a formal Chinese border. This hexagonal fluted shape would have matched a similarly fluted (but probably round) teapot. The faux-Chinese mark was used by Worcester in this period for some of its designs. Excellent condition.
