Here is an intriguing set with a complicated decoration of a Chinese dragon—it’s hard to make out unless you look for its eyebrows (the white areas) and mouth. The image is printed both inside and out, and accompanied by a narrow gilt line that doesn’t seem to add much to the design. The saucer is five and one-half inches in diameter. Slight wear to the gilding from normal use. No damage. A very decorative set in an attractive chinoiseries style. The Chinese dragon was a popular motif but this particular version of it is one I haven't been able to identify. If anyone recognizes who made this set, please let me know.
