This certainly looks like a Hochst figure, similar to the figures of children designed by Melchior, but at one point the old Hochst figure molds were sold off to other factories and many of them were reproduced, usually in pottery rather than porcelain. This one may be a Hochst Damm figure from the mid-19th century. It’s porcelain and obviously of high quality. Passau is another option and perhaps a better one. Perfect condition. Three and three-quarters inches tall. A charmer.

A warm welcome! Please consider all our offerings, and feel free to inquire about more information. We’re always buying, so let us know if you have early porcelain items to sell.
