The colors in this vase vary from metallic black to red to pink to blue to brown to beige, and the patterns can be speckled, sweeping, drooping, dappled and swirled. The photographs tend to bring out the scarlet more than the other colors, so please understand that the vase’s colors are a little less bold in normal light. It is very well-marked, a sign of the high regard that Charles Noke held for this vase, certainly an experimental triumph of the glazer’s creativity. It stands about twelve inches tall and is in perfect condition.
