Here is a very decorative pair of vases by Lawleys, a company in the City of Stoke in Norfolk, England. I would date them to the 1930s, when Lawleys was developing a market in studio pottery and porcelain. Each is glazed with a hand-applied speckled red color on the outside and a similar blue glaze on the inside. They are made very much in the Chinese style and are about nine and one-eighth inches high. No wear or damage, excellent condition and ready to set on your mantle or shelf. Please excuse the reflected lights in the photographs; these have a very glossy glaze.

A warm welcome! Please consider all our offerings, and feel free to inquire about more information. We’re always buying, so let us know if you have early porcelain items to sell.
