Here is an enchanting container or canister made by Boisette, one of the Paris factories that (of course) liked to imitate Sevres porcelains. The flowers are in the same light tones as seen on Sevres pieces. On the back there is a horizontal abrasion to the glaze, an inch and a half long, near the top. This is not visible when the main bouquet is facing forward. It is in great condition with no other damage, but it probably had a lid at one time. It is three and three-quarters inches tall and marked with the script letter B, the usual factory mark. It comes from a Chicago collection where every piece had something special about it. The labels on the bottom show that it has long had a place in collections of early porcelain
