What a bright splendid show this dish presents, with colorful bouquets, gilded scrolls and tendrils, and a deep cobalt blue border with gilded chains, leaves and flowers. It is ten and a quarter inches long and eight and one-eighth inches across and has no chips or cracks, but as usual some of the gilt on the edge is worn. There is also an area of gilt wear next to the bouquet with the yellow flower, but I bet you didn’t notice that until I mentioned it. It is unmarked but an exact match to John Rose's pattern 737.
