Boasting two landscapes and a scattering of flowers in a gilt border, this eight and one quarter-inch plate is marked in puce on the back with pattern 6283. The puce color of the pattern number suggests that Alcock is the maker, but the H. R. Daniel factory is another possibility. It is in wonderful undamaged condition.
