1596 Ovid Opera second edition, Leipzig... Full title: Opera, quae extant, omnia tributa in tomos tres, quorum primo continentur... omnia castigatiora ex postrema Iacobi Micylli recognitione et recensione nova Georgii Bersmanni, cum indicationse diversae scripturae, & locorum difficiliorum, etc. Published in Leipzig by Abraham Lamberg, 1596. Third edition with an illustrated title, some vignettes and a printer's colophon, 430 pages. An extremely rare edition. A web search indicates no copies for sale. Spine missing and repaired with (gasp) tape.6 by 4 inches. Interior is good for the age but with numerous underlinings. Front endpaper missing. Covers quite scuffed. I have several editions of both Horace and Ovid, so I would be happy to sell those books as collections at a hefty discount.

A warm welcome! Please consider all our offerings, and feel free to inquire about more information. We’re always buying, so let us know if you have early porcelain items to sell.
