Aeneis tabulis incidit Johannes Pine. [Text in Latin]. In two volumes, both lavishly illustrated with engravings throughout, including frontispieces and title page vignettes, full page illustrations, numerous pictorial head & tailpieces (including a couple of maps) and decorative initials. Published by Johannes Pine, London. I don't think I need add much description since this edition is so well known. Later penned dedication dated 1888 from Joseph Leech to Henry Napier Abbot. Red morocco, all edges gilt. I have several editions of both Horace and Ovid, so I would be happy to sell those books as collections at a hefty discount.

A warm welcome! Please consider all our offerings, and feel free to inquire about more information. We’re always buying, so let us know if you have early porcelain items to sell.
