This is a lovely antique French curb bracelet.
The links are hollow, typical of these lovely French pieces. The links alternate between a lovely snake skin texture and plain smooth. The bracelet has a charming tinkling sound due to the hollow links.
A charm in silver was added years ago.
There clear French hallmarks of the tete de sanglier or boar's head on the end of the bracelet. The standard for French silver was between 800-900 parts per thousand pure silver at the turn of the century when this lovely bracelet was made, lower than sterling but the accepted standard for much of Europe.
The bracelet measures 9 inches ( 23 cm) long including the connecting spring ring and 1/2 inch( 1.4 cm) wide. The condition is excellent with a lovely dark antique patina.
