Blue Threaded Glass Basket with Twist Handle

This lovely art glass basket is cased blue glass over clear glass. The basket has a pattern of threading that looks like a woven wicker pattern. The edges of the basket are tightly crimped and the edges are clear glass. The clear glass applied handle is twisted. There is a defect on one side of the applied handle and I cannot be sure if this is a defect in the application or if this is an area of damage. There is a rough pontil on the base. There is no other damage that I can find. The basket is 6 inches in diameter and stands 5 1/2 inches in height at the apex of the handle. This is a lovely and unusual basket because of the woven pattern that it possesses.
