This 1908 Tuck’s Valentine postcard features Cupid in a grassy field surrounded by purple violets and clover. Cupid is gazing at a large and elaborately decorated bright yellow cake. A dove is flying nearby with an envelope in its bill. The post card has the simple To My Valentine message. The design on the face is embossed. The card is in good condition with a small area of ink bleed from the postmark that is on the face of the card. There are no tears or creases.

The back of the card shows a February 13, 1908 postmark from Batavia, NY. There is the Tuck’s logo in the upper left corner on the back. The card is called “Golden Greeting” and is part of Valentine Post Cards Series No. 200. There is no message but there is an address written in pencil.
