This is Erin, a Cherished Teddies figurine who is commemorating St. Patrick’s Day. Erin is one of a series of holiday themed Cherished Teddies produced in 1997 by Priscilla Hillman for Enesco. This figurine is entitled Erin “My Irish Eyes Smile When You Are Near.” Erin has a golden harp and a garland of tiny green shamrocks around her head and shoulders. There are also large shamrocks on either side of her fairy wings. She is seated and we can see the worn area on one of her foot pads and a green and white patch on her left arm as evidence of how loved this teddy was! Hillman’s Cherished Teddies often sport signs of wear from being loved as a part of their design.

Erin is about 2 1/2inches tall and is about 3 inches in width. The base is marked with Reg. No. 7H4/149 c. 1997 Priscilla Hillman Licensed Enesco Corporation 203068. The base is also marked with Cherished Teddies, the name and title of the figurine. There are no chips or cracks present.
