This lovely Early American Pattern Glass covered dish has two loop handles and a deep cover. The shape is unusual and the pattern is a combination of daisy and button and fine cut elements. The pattern is similar to that found in Mascotte, but the shape is not typical of this pattern. The lid has a high dome shape with a flat rectangular handle on the top. The bowl is 10 inches long from handle to handle and 7 inches long by 5 inches wide on the interior of the bowl. There is a chip on the edge of the lid's handle and there is chipping on the interior edge of the bowl. None of this detracts from the unusual charm of this old domed and lidded pattern glass dish.
