This lovely 2 piece muffineer set is handpainted Japanese Lusterware. The syrup pitcher and matching sugar shaker have blue and purple luster banding with a bright red flower and green leaves on the fronts. There is also a border of black with diamond designs. The pieces are in excellent condition without chips, cracks or crazing. There is a red mark over the glaze on both pieces that has Hand Painted Made in Japan on the border and a bird in flight in the center. These would be lovely on your breakfast table and make your French toast, waffles or pancakes so much more delightful!
