1911 Valentine Postcard with Lady in Large Merry Widow Hat - image 1 of 4

This Valentine postcard features a lovely young woman with a large Merry Widow hat. She is standing in front of a big red heart. A Cupid is at her feet. Her flowing dress is a vibrant blue and and orange with a white ruffle at the neck. She wears opera length gloves and is certainly elegant. There is a crease in the upper left hand corner of the card.

The back of the card shows that the card has been postally used with a 1911 Montpelier Ohio postmark. The stamp is gone but there is a mark where it once was. There is an address and message written in pencil. The card is addressed to Miss Edna Langley, 1112 Monroe St., Toledo O.

Multiple postcards can be mailed for the same amount as a single card, so if you purchase more than one, please wait to make your payment until I can adjust the postage .
