This lovely pin and earring Demi parure dates to the last half of the 20th century. The lovely pin and clip earrings appear to have never been worn and are in their original green velvet presentation box that is marked with the Priscilla trademark. The pin is 1 3/4 inch in greatest length and is a gently arching silver tone branch with leaves of long ovoid prong set faceted black glass and shimmering prong set round rhinestones. The earrings are 3/4 inch clip earrings with a single faceted black glass leaf and three round clear rhinestones. The pin is still secured in the creamy velvet padding with elastic strips. The stones are all tight and bright in lovely unused condition.
Because the pin is still secured in the box, I cannot see if there are any markings on the back of the pin. The earrings have no markings on the clips. There is a foil on the velvet pad with the Priscilla trademark. The inside of the box indicates that the jewelry is from Hartig Jewelry 5 River Roads St. Louis Missouri. River Roads was an early enclosed shopping mall in St. Louis that opened in 1962 and by 1985 most of the anchor stores were gone and a few shops with exterior access remained for several more years. The mall was a premier shopping facility in the 1960’s to mid 1970’s so this will help to date this lovely pin and earrings. The mall closed permanently as a shopping facility in 1995 and was demolished in 2006.
