This great figural booklet is definitely a bartender’s friend. Made in the tapered shape of the iconic Galliano Liqueur bottle, the booklet has a treasure trove of drink recipes. The booklet was printed in Italy in 1969. It measures 5 1/2 inches long and is 1 inch wide at the top and 1 1/2 inches wide at the base. The book has a bright blue cover with the golden Galliano bottle. There are more than 150 recipes for drinks in this little book with one drink per page.
There are drinks that are well-known staples such as Harvey Wallbanger and the Italian Stallion, prize winning drinks such as the Jonkanoo Screw Driver, Pink Elephant and Green Mist, as well as private creations by individuals such as Naples Delight and Morning Mist. There are also unattributed mixes such as Rome Beauty and Portofino Cocktail S.S. Homeric.
This book is delicate because of its unusual shape and size, but it is intact without missing pages or loose pages. There are no stray marks left by bartenders!
