These heavy clear glass bookends are a product of Fostoria Glass Co circa 1943. Fostoria made a variety of elegant glass items and decorative glass accessories in the period between World War I and World War II, including figural bookends of many kinds. These clear heavy glass bookends are the Lyre bookends of this period. The pair of bookends weighs 6 lbs before any packaging so this must be considered in the calculation of postage. These are in mint condition without any chips, cracks or damage. Each book end measures 8 in tall by 6 in wide by 3 in depth.
