This lovely glass paperweight is a souvenir of the 1904 St. Louis World’s Fair. The glass dome was filled with small sea shells and a few larger ones and sealed with a plaster substance.. The sea shells in this paperweight are white with black and a little bit of brown. At the top of the shells is a larger shell on which is written, World’s Fair St. Louis, 1904. The paperweight is 3 inches in diameter and stands about 1 1/2 inch high. The glass is intact. There is wear to the base seal but it is intact.
