This lovely postcard is embossed in high relief and airbrushed in purple. The image is that of a large egg wrapped by a ribbon. Two cherubs ride the egg. The message is Easter Greetings. There is a signature in the left lower corner of the face. The card is, otherwise in excellent condition with sharp corners. The left edge of the card is embossed in very tiny letters, Ill Postal Card and Novelty Co NY.
The reverse of the card bears a stamp and a postmark that is dated April 17, 1908 from Ohio. The city is not legible on the postmark. There is also an address but no message.
GENEALOGY: The card is addressed to Miss Lucy McKeen, c/o Will McKeen, Greenspring, Ohio. The signature of the sender is on the face and is Aunt Etta.
