This Thanksgiving postcard features a long line of turkeys marching with roasted turkeys on their backs. An odd, rather macabre sight for a Thanksgiving card that has a message: Let This Day Be One of Happiness and Thanksgiving. The card has lots of gold embellishment on the turkeys and the lettering as well as a thin gold border along the sides of the picture. The card is in very good condition.

The back of the card is divided. The card has been postally used and has a November 22, 1908 Grand Rapids, Mich. postmark and a canceled stamp. There is a message and an address present.

The message on the back reads, “eat as long as you want to. have a lemon cake for Thanksgiving. Ira.

The card is addressed to Miss Mildred Stevens. St. Louis, Mich

I can mail one card for the same amount as several, so if you choose to make multiple purchases, be sure to wait to pay until I can adjust the price appropriately.
