This metal watch clock station was originally hung on the wall of a building or a post and was used by the night watchman to clock in on his appointed rounds as a record that he had checked in periodically on the property he was in charge of guarding. The station has a key on a chain inside to use to "clock in." The station measures 4 inches long and 2 1/4 inches high. All original parts are in excellent condition. Today, these vintage stations make great door or wall decorations.
