These lovely sherbet glasses were produced by Hocking from 1923-1933 in the depression glass pattern Block Optic. The sherbet glasses have a conical bowl and a base that has rounded panels , The conical bowl has rounded panels that are divided by horizontal ridges. The bowl and the base are joined by what is made to look like a wafer. The wafer has a seam through it so it is not a true wafer as would be found in antique blown and pressed glass.
The sherbet glasses are 3 inches tall. The opening is 3 3/4 inches. The foot of the base is 2 1/2 inches in diameter. The sherbets are all in excellent condition without chips or cracks.
These would make a wonderful addition to your table as stand alone items or mixed with other patterns or even with china dishes for a beautiful table setting.
