Patriotic postcard celebrating Washington's Birthday produced by N. W. Taggart New York. The design of this postcard has a 1908 copyright. The card has the eagle, red, white and blue bunting, an American Flag with 13 stars for the original colonies and a portrait of George Washington. The card is imprinted with George Washington First President of the U.S. 1789-1797.

The back of the card shows postal use with a canceled stamp and postmark. The card has a message written in ink and a recipient address. The postmark is from Grand Rapids Michigan and the postmark date is February 21, 1910.

Condition: Small corner crease in the right lower corner. No other blemishes.

Message: My Dear folks, How are you I am felling (sic) fine went to work last Monday morning I saw Edd last night am going out to Joe's today TaTa Jay Surger

GENEALOGY: The card is sent from Grand Rapids, Michigan by Jay Surger to his family/parents. The card is addressed to Mr. Chas Surger, Lake Odessa Michigan.
