This lovely 1911 Thanksgiving postcard proclaims, “Thanksgiving Joys.” The face of the card has a fall palate with a view out of a portico, looking on a scene with a Tom turkey, an apple tree and sheaves of wheat. The front of the portico is decorated with garland of gourds and ears of corn with golden bows. The colors are of a more muted palette but are not faded. The corners have minimal bumping. The lower right corner is imprinted with c. J. Herman 1911.
The card has been postally used. The stamp is canceled and there is a November 27, 1911, Lincoln, Ill postmark. There is a senders signature and an address.
