This 1908 Thanksgiving postcard features a prayerful boy at the Thanksgiving table. Over his right shoulder is the American Eagle upon a red, white and blue shield. Over his left shoulder is a big Tom turkey perched upon a dinner plate! The card has a Thanksgiving message on a scroll on the bottom: “Thanksgiving Greetings.” The colors are bright and the subject is appealing. The corners are slightly bumped.
The back of the card has a canceled stamp and bears a Brooklyn NY November 25, 1908 postmark. The card is part of Thanksgiving Series No 1.
There is a message and an address on the card. The message is simply “From Mike.”
