Perfect for the airline collector, this is a set of 6 mint condition first class Royal Ambassador menus featuring TWA airplanes. Each cover has a different airplane. Cover images feature Martin 202A, Lockheed 1649A, McDonnell Douglas MD-80, Boeing 747, Lockheed L-1011 and Boeing 767. All of the cover images were done by artist Albert W. Wallenberg, retired TWA flight engineer. Menus measure 6 1/2 by 11 1/2 inches.
The front page of each menu has a description of the cover aircraft with specifications, date of inauguration and information about the routes that plane flew.
The food selections are the same in all of the menus.
All of the menus have heavy card stock covers, tissue frontispiece, and heavy paper menu pages. TWA originated and was bought out by American Airlines in 2001.
