An embossed wishbone is suspended from a gold cord, framing a big fat turkey. At the bottom of the card a still life of fruit, vegetables and fall leaves speaks to the bounty of the harvest. There are embossed leaves and berries in the upper right and lower left corner. The edges are minimally chipped and the corners are bumped slightly. There is a small amount of bleed of the postmark on the face but this does not mar the beauty of the face.

The back of the card has a 1914 Newark NJ postmark. There is an address and message in ink. The card is Series 1000 Midland Pub Co NY and has the owl and palette trademark of Gold Medal Art.

MESSAGE: 1914 Dear Iola How are you. I hope you aren't ill. We are well. I have not heard from you in a long time. We are all well. (illegible) all send love to you. S. B. Barnes

GENEALOGY: The card is sent from Newark, NJ by S. B. Barnes to Mrs. George Wagner in Perry, Pike County, Ill.

I can ship many postcards for the same price as one as they are very light. If you purchase several, wait for me to send you a revised purchase order reflecting an appropriate shipping price before making your payment.
