Victorian trade card entitled Highway Robbery was made to advertise James Pyles Pearline washing powder. The face of the card features several aggressive geese, one of which has a cracker in its beak, and a crying child from whom the cracker was snatched. The small card measures 4 1/8 x 2 1/16 inch. The card has been glued into an album and there is damage to the reverse of the card as a result. The two bottom corners of the card are chipped.
Postcards and trade cards are light and several can be shipped in a stiffened document mailer for the same cost as a single card. If you choose to purchase multiple cards, please wait until I can adjust the shipping appropriately before you pay.
