This fun post card features a couple out for a drive in their motor car. They have stopped for a picnic lunch under a big tree and have parked their car in the background. They have a nice basket and are enjoying cool drinks. The card is entitled Motoring Luncheon. The card and the title are embossed and then have been air brushed with pops of bright green, pink and brown. The lady sports a big hat with a scarf to hold it against the breeze and the gentleman has high boots and knicker breeches. The front of the card has light soil on the embossed areas. The corners have mild bumping.

The back of the card has a postmark, stamp, and message and address written in ink. The postmark is from Texas in 1910, but the date and town are illegible.

MESSAGE: Dear Zona I just went 4 days school and I went to Sunday School last Sunday. We had a quite a nice rain. I helped Mama make garden today. Write soon. Yours truly, Roxy.

GENEALOGY: Roxy who live in Texas is writing to Miss Zona Hiller in Trenton Texas.
