This postcard shows a view of the 1908 Kansas City, Missouri flood. The flooded street scene shows a view of the corner of 11th and Mulberry streets. The card is a black and white photo with a white border. The card is in good condition with slightly bumped corners.

The reverse of the card has a 1908 Kansas City postmark with a green one cent stamp. The back is divided and there is an address and message written in pencil. The left hand edge of the card is imprinted with Webb-Freyschlag Merc. Co.

Message: Kansas City Dear Don So you are having a fine time now be a good boy and don't go in swimming. You must mind the folks. I don't know if we will be down the 4th or not. Write to us. With love Mamma

GENEALOGY NOTE: The card is addressed to Don. D. Waller Lane, Kansas.
